Empowering Refugees through Technology
An interesting report by the UNHCR highlighting ways to further empower refugees through technology. Internet can be a very powerful tool, however, UNHCR statistics show that only 17% of rural refugees live in areas with 3G coverage.
The report suggests 5 ways that Digital Literacy will help refugees as it will present them with a large range of opportunities, making them more employable and able to find job offers online.
