Cause bacterial infections such as : whooping cough, strep throat, ear infection, UTIs
Cause viral infections such as: common cold, flu, chickenpox, bronchitis
Treated with antibiotics
Treated with antiviral medication and prevented by vaccines NOTE: vaccines cannot cure a disease.
